The owner of ARIADNE has always had an affinity for all things classic, from admiring classic cinema to owning and fixing up historical homes to his beloved Lincoln Mark V Continental Coupe. However, his greatest undertaking was the meticulous renovation of ARIADNE, a 124-footer built-in 1979 at the Breaux’s Bay Craft shipyard in Louisiana, which specialized in commercial aluminum vessels, but had owners who crafted her as a yacht for themselves..

Inspired by the elegance and sophistication of grand ocean liners of yesteryear, he spent 18 long months meticulously renovating ARIADNE. The multi-million-dollar refit completed in 2018 resulted in the creation of a truly refined classic yacht brought into the modern age.

If you’d like to learn more about renovation, Yachting Magazine’s Kim Kavin outlines the journey and the lengths the owner went through to create his floating oasis.
